MyCaddie Golf Memory

Log the round. Learn the pattern. Play the next one smarter.

MyCaddie is a free golf memory and round journal that turns quick shot notes into confirmed hole-by-hole history. Its Bag Builder also finds loft gaps, club overlaps, and open slots from the clubs a golfer enters.

What the app does

  • Captures and confirms natural-language shot notes.
  • Keeps each golfer's rounds, bags, and journal separate.
  • Maps the loft order of a 14-club bag.
  • Flags large gaps and duplicate lofts.
  • Suggests clear club categories for open slots.
  • Keeps confirmed rounds and player data in browser storage.

How bag gapping works

Bag Builder sorts the lofts a golfer enters, flags overlaps within one degree, and highlights large wedge or top-end gaps. The same inputs produce the same output. Loft is a useful starting proxy, not a launch-monitor fitting, carry-distance guarantee, or score promise.

How course data is handled

The starter catalog is source-labeled. West Seattle Golf Course uses a dated, checked-in OpenStreetMap snapshot with provenance, but its tee, pin, green, hazard, and yardage details remain review-required. MyCaddie does not trace proprietary competitor maps or call that package launch-ready.

How MyCaddie differs

Current MyCaddie centers golfer-confirmed notes, editable facts, and deterministic summaries. It is not automatic shot tracking or AI golf chat, and no club sensors are required for bag analysis.

Start with the free app

Use Bag Builder to review the clubs you enter, or open Quick Log to confirm a round hole by hole. Public journals are opt-in; private rounds are not made public by default.

No account is required for the public app. Course-prep panels are planning aids, not GPS guarantees or promises about a shot result. Last reviewed July 11, 2026.
